The historic C. Reiss Coal Company, once located on the Reiss peninsula in Sheboygan, was a vibrant part of industrial life in the area for more than 100 years. Business history forms part of the core of the collection at the Research Center. Hundreds of businesses are documented and represented in the general information files and archival holdings of the Historical Research Center.
Business sponsorship forms part of the core of fund development for the Historical Research Center. A number of new initiatives are available for businesses interested in the mission of the Historical Research Center. Our 2011-2012 business sponsorship goal is $5,000.
