The Sheboygan County Historical Society (SCHS) and Museum is a 'sister' organization of the SCHRC.  The two organzations work together to preserve history- SCHS through artifacts and SCHRC through documents.

The Sheboygan County Historical museum is located at 3110 Erie Avenue, Sheboygan and is operated under the leadership of Director Robert Harker and his staff.

The Sheboygan County Register of Deeds office is the keeper of Sheboygan County vital statistics, among other things birth, marriage, and death records. 

We suggest coming to visit the SCHRC before going to the Register of Deeds office unless you know specifically what you are looking for.  We feel that we can help you maximize your time there, especially since they have time and space constraints on busy days.
