The Sheboygan County Historical Research Center is governed by a volunteer board of directors numbering up to fifteen members. Each board member may serve up to three, three-year terms. The board members, chosen for their talents and their ability to help the Research Center reach fulfill its mission, are formally elected by the membership at the annual meetings held in September of each year.
Meet the 2011-2012 SCHRC Board of Directors
Ron Becker is a lifelong resident of Sheboygan. He currently owns and operates Transpo Companies. Ron enjoys local history and is a former board member at the Sheboygan County Historical Society.

Mary Lynne Donohue is an attorney, of counsel to the Sheboygan Law firm, Hopp Neumann Humke LLP. She has served as president of the Sheboyga n Area School District Board of Education, the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, the City of Sheboygan Police and Fire Commission, and served on the City's Civil Service Commission. She is presently on the board of the Sheboygan County Historical Society, Family Connections and Head Start. She is a member of the Sheboygan branch of AAUW and Altrusa. Statewide, Mary Lynne is on the board of the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters, the Wisconsin Trust Account Foundation, Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin and chairs the Leadership Development Committee for the State Bar of Wisconsin. In her spare time, Mary Lynne continues to try to learn the bagpipes.
E. Anthony Fessler is General Counsel and Vice President for International Programs for Lakeland College. Prior to joining Lakeland College in 1998 Tony served as an associate at Rohde, Dales, Melzer, Te Winkle and Gass law firm. He spent a number of years as a member of the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps. He is a past board member of Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra, Sheboygan Rotary Club, Sheboygan Yacht Club, and other civic organizations.

David Gallianetti was named Lakeland College’s director of communications in the fall of 2000. He previously worked as a reporter at The Sheboygan Press for seven years. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and worked in newspapers for more than a decade before joining Lakeland’s staff. He is currently a member of the Sheboygan Area School District Board of Education, and has previously served on boards for the Sheboygan & Plymouth Area United Way, the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra, Mead Public Library and the Friends of the Sheboygan Senior Center. David serves as President of the Research Center.
Steve Gallimore currently works as IT Manager/ISO Coordinator/Public Relations contact at Skana Aluminum Company in Manitowoc. He is serving his second term on the board and also acts as board Secretary. Steve is an avid researcher and local historian, always actively promoting SCHRC.
Robert Gorges is a retired Chemistry, Physics and Math teacher. He taught 35 years at Sheboygan North High School. Bob volunteers at with Boy Scout troop 861. He has served on staff for 28 year; The Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts as house manager; Meals on Wheels of Sheboygan County; Sheboygan Public Education Foundation; North High Booster Club where he served as President for 44 years; and First United Lutheran Church of Sheboygan where he served two terms as Council President and Property Committee Chair and much more. Bob serves as Treasurer of the Research Center.

Larschelby ‘Schel’ Kidd has twenty years experience as a chef and cooking demonstrator. He is also a Wine and Food Educator and grape grower. Schel is a retired chef from California living in Wisconsin and an advocate for the advancement of the Wisconsin Wine Industry. Schel’s philosophy on food and wine is "Let your palate be your guide.” He is currently a Board Member of Sheboygan Falls Chamber Main Street and an active Ambassador for CMS and its members. Schel serves as Vice-President of SCHRC.
Angela Daane Miller was born and raised in Oostburg, Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay and her M.A in history from UW-Milwaukee. She also holds a certificate in Museum Studies from UW-M. Angela worked at the Sheboygan County Historical Museum from 2002 to 2004. In 2004 she moved to the Kohler Company where she serves as a Communications Specialist in the Corporate Archive. Angela is married and lives in Oostburg. Angela serves as Secretary of SCHRC's board.
Carl Paul is a graduate of Marquette University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. He obtained his CPA certification from the State of Wisconsin in 1988. After eighteen years in various accounting roles, he moved to Sheboygan Falls in 2003 and opened The Fringe, A Country Inn with his wife Ruth in 2004. He also practices as an independent CPA, associated with Raih Tax & Bookkeeping, providing tax and accounting services for individuals and small businesses. His involvement in local service groups includes; Kiwanis Club of Sheboygan Falls (Treasurer), Sheboygan Falls Chamber Main Street (Tourism Committee Chair), Knights of Columbus (St. Mary's Council, Sheboygan Falls) and Boy Scouts merit badge counselor.
Randy Schwoerer’s background is built around the entertainment business and marketing. He has been a professional musician, a talent agent, artist manager and then record producer. He is currently the Sheboygan Harbor Centre Business Improvement District Manager and oversees the relocation of businesses to downtown Sheboygan and the riverfront as well as creating and marketing events to bring consumers to the district.
William G. Wagner M.D. is a retired surgeon from Sheboygan who was affiliated with the Medical Arts Building for more than 30 years. He is married to Jean Schott-Wagner, a local pediatric opthamologist. Dr. Wagner is an experienced pilot with instrument, multiengine and commercial ratings who works with Angel Flight as a volunteer pilot. Angel Flight is a non-profit charitable organization of pilots, volunteers, and friends that arranges free air transportation for any charitable or medically related need. He is also active in Sheboygan Downtown Rotary.
Wayne Warnecke, a native Sheboygan resident, has had a lifelong interest in local history. After serving for many years in different administrative roles at Lakeland College, Warnecke most recently worked for local radio stations, 1420 The Breeze and 91.3 The Message. He now serves on boards of several local non-profit organizations and lives in rural Sheboygan with his wife, Gail.
Sharon Winkle is currently the Library Director at Mead Public Library in Sheboygan and Secretary of the Mead Public Library Foundation. She has more than 35 years experience in public library administration in Wisconsin, Colorado, and Ohio. Sharon has Masters degrees in Library Science (University of Kentucky) and Public Administration (University of Denver). She is a member of the American Library Association, Public Library Association, and Wisconsin Library Association.
Joseph Zagozen is currently semi-retired, working part time at Glander Prescriptions Plus as a registered pharmacist. Joe previously worked at St. Nicholas Hospital with positions of Director of Pharmacy and Vice-President. Degrees-Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Master of Science in Management. Professional affiliations- Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin and American Society of Health-systems Pharmacists.
